Studio Hire

We offer a large range of facilities at our studio. We have a number of different backgrounds, from paper, cloth, to stone walls and even a room set with bed.

We have a large number of various studio lights, offering a range of power and different lighting situations.

Facilities

We are based in a large 17th century castle set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons national park Our studios have tea coffee facilities in house, plus there is the option of using the castles bar and restaurant.

We can also offer overnight accommodation in the castle (prices available on request) with en-suite rooms at reasonable prices.

Lighting

We have Bowen’s quad pack, plus a large number of free standing lights, we have soft boxes or umbrellas to soften the lighting, these can be set up ready by our own experienced photographers or they can be set up by the client to suit his/her own lighting style.

Backgrounds

We have a big choice of backgrounds, ranging from black cloth (velvet type) Paper backgrounds white (18 foot width) red, neutral grey, and chroma key green, ideal for cutting out subjects or video use.

We also have a room set with bed, and papered walls etc. Other backgrounds included several lastolite folding backgrounds, and some cloth “dream” effect backgrounds. We also have a brick wall set and a gothic stone wall set.

Studio

Our studio area is approximately 1500sq foot and is on the first floor. The studio is a large airy room with plenty of headroom, ideal for setting up lighting from hi angles or hair lights, the large size also means there is plenty of space to work with longer lens or large format cameras.

Extras

Our experienced photographers will be on site to offer any advice or help needed. We always have tripods, reflectors and other assorted “goodies” to help out with a shoot, clips for taking up slack in clothing to a sewing kit for running repairs etc. Years of experience have taught us of the things needed to help a shoot go smoothly.

Printing

We can also offer an in-house printing service, with prints up to 24 inches wide, we also have laminating and mounting facilities available, and we can offer for your images to be “backed up” to DVD before you leave the studio.
