The actual ammount of time during the day to take the photographs would depend on the time frame that you have set up for the day. Photographs will be taken during the ceremony and last only a short while longer for signing of the registry and confetti photographs. We endeavour to take the group photographs as quickly and efficiently as possible to cause the least ammount of disturbance to your special day. Throughout the day reportage style photographs will be taken which can capture all the little yet important photographs that could be missed with just having set photographs. During your day we will have set aside an time to take the bride and groom away from the party to take some private photographs alone, this again will depend on how much time you have set aside for this in the busy day.

During our pre wedding meetings we will work around your scheduled day to fit in all the photographs that you will want . From getting ready in the morning to your last dance or even photographs in the honeymoon sweet.

The time spent at the wedding depends on the package that is chosen but can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Generally the packages run from 3 hours at a small pakage with up to 10 hours with the larger packages.

The ammount of photographs taken at the weddings will vary from the different packages chosen and the ammount of time that is spent there on the day. Varying from 300-500 photographs at a smaller wedding package up to over 1000 photogaphs at the larger weddings.

This again will be dependant on which package you choose and if you decide on a certain type of album. A Traditional album can contain up to 30 large images or up to 90 smaller images. Digital Storybook albums can contain around 100 individual images put together in a layout to create a fantastic personal album. However dependant on packages Jpeg image discs can also be purchased as an optional extra.

The wedding day will be personal to yourselves and will be adapted to exactly the way you like it. If you do not like the traditional group photographs we can make things a little bit different and more exiting by creating fun group photos and capture the sponteniety of your wedding day.

Digital cameras have lots of great advantages over traditional film cameras. One of the main advantages is that we can take a large ammount of photographs and view them on the day knowing that we have the photographs that we require and not having any risk of chemical failure at the lab. In the days of film we would have normally taken something in the region of 30-40 photographs during the wedding, with digital we are taking hundreds of photographs to give you more choice and a far more exiting album. By using digital we can also offer you products such as DVD slideshows, review websites, canvas and other product printing.

In the early days of digital photography there were justified concerns regarding image quality. These days digital Slr technology has not only equaled but surpassed the quality achieved by 35mm film. At Ajay Fotography we invest massivly in the most advanced cameras available, we can now boast Nikons top end D3 and D2X cameras for use at our weddings.
